  • Guitar Hurricane? Screw that, SRV was a Guitar Supernova.

  • Just saw a videoof Buddy guy saying shut the F up about SRV if it weren't for Stevie Buddy and the rest of them would have been forgotten long ago. Stevie brought BLUES to every home!! not these guys.

  • @nirvanium29 Put together, with bacon, and set on fire.

  • SRV...bigger than Katrina and Irene

  • He always talked about the movement in texas. Like how a horse sounds gallopping or a train cruising by. He is the man

  • @MrBallsoplenty just goofing around. Go Texas ,what a great player

  • I think the official web site of Stevie is where I go that info and I got that there you call him who ever ya want and try to live as if ya knew him if ya want you may be right whats the point lol the world knows him also and as STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN!!!!!! Read his Biography but what ever yo its all good..........................

  • @MrBallsoplenty I think you are mixing him up with That famous Texan , Woody Allen

Easy mistake to make. Stevies real name is Tariq Ibrahim and he went to the same mosque as my neighbour ,Muhammed ,in Wales.

  • Born and raised in Dallas, Vaughan began playing guitar at age 7, inspired by older brother Jimmie. By age 12 he was playing in garage bands, and within a few years he joined semi-professional bands that occasionally landed gigs in local nightclubs. At 17 he dropped out of high school to concentrate on playing music. In 1970 Stevie was playing in a nine-piece horn band and then formed his first blues band, Blackbird, a year later.

  • @ilikezappa Stevie Ray Vaughan was born in Dallas, Texas on Oct. 3rd 1954. He was raised and went to school in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas as did I. My cousin has a high school yearbook, which he signed, with pictures of him and his band in it.I don't where you got that he was from Wales, but you are definitely wrong about that.
