Wow, for the life of me, I can not figure out how to get this to work. I downloaded the app and have tried every posible way of getting it to activate, to no avail. I am on a Mac, maybe this will only work on PCs?

It should work for the Mac as well. Send us information regarding the issue that is occurring via email to support@ancestry.com and we can look into it for you.

I have never gotten it to work. I have used 3 different computers, different browsers....you name it. Emailed Ancestry support and got a lot of run around and no real help. That's one of the reasons I am no longer a paying customer anymore. I have a tree of almost 20,000 names that I have been working on for many years, and it ticks me off that I have so much research to do, yet there stuff either doesn't work or is way to blamed expensive!!!

This is not a good idea and is frowned upon in most genealogical circles. Adding living persons to any database invites identity theft.

Mine is doing the same with my PC. I keep getting "We're sorry, this feature not working properly". I am sure they will figure it out someday and it will be a great thing!

I'm in the same boat with my PC. Keep getting "We're sorry, this feature not working properly" So it can't be a mac thing. I emailed support waiting to hear back. Have tried it both on IE and Firefox.
