Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (GC) Playthrough - Part 1

This is the first part of my playing-through of SA2B, on the Dolphin emulator.

In my opinion, SA2B was the last truly great Sonic game. Sure, Heroes wasn't too bad, and the other recent games have had their moments, but none have truly stacked up to how good SA2B was. I know a lot of people will probably disagree with that, but, let's be honest... Sonic's nowhere near as good as he once was.

So this is my way of accepting that fact, and moving on. For years, I was obsessed with him and his games. But no more. He's become a tool for Sega, to rake in more of our money, his most recent iterations' production lacking any effort or passion. He's just not Sonic anymore.

This'll be the first, and probably last 'Let's Play' series that I'll ever upload. I'm not the type to just play and then jabber all over the game's audio, so I've not bothered with a commentary. I know that, like me, there's probably a lot of you out there that appreciate SA2B not just for the game itself, but for the awesome music, and (of course) the old voice actors.

So yeah. Hope you enjoy watching. And sorry for the quality, FRAPS is a HDD space whore; compression was necessary.

how come everyone likes this game? sadx is WAY better and makes this game look horrible! come on guys you just say its a good game because everyone else does!!!!!!!

This game was a step in the right direction for the 3d Sonic games. I do not have a much of a problem with Unleashed and Colors, but out of the franchise the gameplay of Sonic and Shadow were my personal favorites in this game.
