This is probably the best Hendrix documentary available. Interviewees include Rock Legends, Girlfriends, Friends from the Harlem scene, and his father, and also includes clips of Jimi's best performances. This documentary shows a more personal side of Hendrix from the people who knew him best.

In less than 4 years Jimi changed guitar(music) forever. You can hear his influence in jazz, rock, pop, blues, hipr&b etc. He`s not a god, but defenitly the most original musician.

The fuzz on Hey Joe at the beginning sounds like a crackling, growling demon made of velcro

The performance of "Hey Joe" at start of this clip shows what I've always loved most about Hendrix... his incredibly fluid rhythm and comping while singing at same time!
Truly a master... forever a legend
