How bizarre! It's like the woman says "Here Honey! Have a cigarette! They are springtime fresh!" Honestly now, don't all cigarettes taste the same? I know, some are mentholated, that just makes them a little mintier (incidentally,my Mom used to smoke Salems). Forgive me, I'm just an ignorant non-smoker here - judging by most posted comments on YouTube for old cigarette ads, the majority of commenters are smokers and appear to miss the days when you could see these ads on TV regularly.

This is a 1965 ad that was usually seen on "GET SMART", because R.J. Reynolds {Salem} sponsored the series during its first three seasons (with Lever Brothers). Don Adams often "lit up" during the episode as well, for better "product identification".
