2008 Tampa Bay Derby - Big Truck

Now you see, War Pass is a much better horse that what you think. And more important he has a lot of heart, if the fractions were a litle slow, he will take the derby, no matter what other sar, this is between El Gato Malo, Big Brown, Pyro and War Pass.

Maybe if he can go the quarter in 40 seconds he can hold on...do you see there being slow fractions?..

NO, but War Pass can sit as a stalker horse, and let other horses like Big Brown, Gayego and Bob Blaack Jack battle for the lead, I think the half mile will be run in 46, 47 sconds, if he can make a move at the quarter pole and take the lead at the top of the stretch, it will be very hard for the closers to get to him.

Another factor is the weather, who nows if in the first saturday of may rains. What happend at the breeders cup juvenile?

Big Brown is very very impressive...Elysium Fields ran a stinker huh?...Big Brown is a MONSTER

I am a big fan of Denis of Cork...Curious to see how the Illinois Derby comes up...watch Elysium Fields tomorrow in FLA Derby...the fun is about to begin!!! Best time of year isn't it?

Hey JimSpoor...maybe I was overexaggerating a little by saying he will be a glorified claimer....he will probably go to the shed with some trumped up injury before they let him become a claimer....My only point is I don't think he is anything more than a speedball that doesn't like getting dirt kicked in his face...he could have shown a lot and he showed nothing ...As a side note...what do we all make out of Adriano yesterday? I am very skeptical of poly preps, but he was impressive..thoughts?
