I tried it with hotmail and it keeps 'connecting to server', how long does this takes? I also found 'time to live' on the domain dossier, can anyone explain what this time is?

I don't think your dynamic IP should effect the way you connect to the email server.

I'm not sure I'm still using windows xp but I would think that it would have some kind of telnet or you could probably download a program
