@longbowdt I think they messed up 0-60 time for Mazda 3 SkyActiv. On many other reviews (MotoTrend, Cars.com, etc.) it is listed to be around upper 7 seconds.

yeah, the Veloster's a faux road warrior; a poser. Who knows what the turbo model will be like? I can only hope it gets the "I-like-to-drive" treatment. Heck, driving in a straight line is no fun if you're not at the drag strip, but country roads can be quite entertaining with the right suspension/brake combo (and a turbo'd motor)

I agree, but the Veloster is supposed to be a sporty coupe and most tests seem to reveal that it's not sporty at all.

Come on Motorweek. You guys are so wishy-washy. @8.6 0~60mph you guys call the Veloster slow, but an 8.9 0~60mph finds you guys praising the Mazda3 SkyActive sedan. Don't you guys have any standards?I notice the same with your comments on braking; one car can do60~0 in 123ft, and it's a dog, another similar car, and it's stellar. Tighten it up.

I find it mind boggling that no one understands the 3 door feature on the Veloster if you don't check out the videos on you-tube on why there are a few that will demonstrate for you.. The Hyundai Veloster banned commercial <==== like this one for instants type it in the you-tube search and you will see why they did this..

@shsjr2010 OMG it makes a lot of sense think about on a busy street people that do not pay attention and someone getting out of the driver's passenger back seat opens door driver not seeing this person get out of car bang gets hit think Hyundai made a lot of sense doing this.BTW did I say every coupe should have a 3rd door NO! Also if you have a baby/kid in the back seat and trying to get them out better curb side then out on the street. See the point now if you don't get now I'm sorry for you
