The Norgon Ambi-Catch can ordered through the "supply system" via its National Stock Number (NSN):
NSN 1005-01-537-6498
As we all know, every second counts in a gunfight.
The Ambi-Catch was tested by NSWC Crane, is authorized for use in all USMC M16s/M4s, is currently being issued with all C7A2s/C8s in Canada and will be included in Denmark's new M/10 Carbine.
Where the Ambi-Catch really shines is for left-handed shooters who can now simultaneously release old magazines with their trigger finger and reload new full magazines with their opposite hand.
@barccy it's 100% compatible with Magpul's BAD lever , though you will want to train with it as you have 2 raised points that you will have to learn by muscle memory.

I wonder if this is compatible with the magpul B.A.D. lever.

That install tool is such cheating haha. Much better than the head of a zip tie or thumb nail.

@BlacktailDefense If you've never used one, there's not much you could do to an M14 to make it more ambidextrous. The mag catch is right behind the magazine, a vertical tab, and doesn't really go to one side more than the other at all.

Damn, that was easy! This device should be standard in every US assault rifle.
Come to think of it, is there an equivalent available for M14s or M21s?
