  • you get yourself a uv light {around $10 from wall mart} close the curtains make the room dark and hey presto you can see. and if you really want to get technical you can use your kids disney projector , or school projector , or any projector frpm ebay to project the sky at night onto the ceiling then just copy.

and voxelblue. : chill out , you will give yourself a heart attack.

you should be nice like me and share your secrets, so others can create the stars at night for there children.

  • Sticker stars.... sure, they're OK as a low-end option. They're better than nothing, i guess.

Paint from the "local hobby shop" will work, but the paint is very visible in the light and then will only glow for about 20 minutes. Plus, there are actually techniques to making the night sky look real (I've done them for over 20 years).

As for how to paint in the light. You don't. Darken the room and charge the paint.

Many will teach u their "techniques" but be careful. Most don't really know.

  • Just get glow in the dark star stickers, I got mine for $8 at Spencer's

  • You are full of crap. that is NOT all there is to it. I have been doing it for over 2 years and for your info there is a LOT more to it. Ok smarty, HOW just HOW do you "paint" the star onto the ceiling since the paint is clear and the ceiling is white? Can you see?

  • go to your local hobby shop and order some small pots of glow in the dark paint for just a few bucks.

this is all that this is.

    i know ive done it.
