The original Bruce Wayne, that is Bruce Wayne of Earth II, died in the mid to late 1970's in Adventure comics. Moreover, when DC comics introduced the Flash of Two Worlds in the 1960's, readers were re-introduced to the original DC universe. The JSA was FIRST NOT the JSL. As such, the original characters preceed the ones you know and in fact after Crisis on Infinite Earths, even the DC Universe today is NOT the pre-Crisis universe and nor are the majority of the characters.

@TheGunpeX The creator of the Green Lantern character and the Green Lantern comic book was who I am speaking of. As to the "Guardians," they were a creation of DC comics in the Silver age. So, you are correct when you say the Green Lantern is not a member of the Green Lantern corps. As to Bruce Wayne, the Golden age characters are the ORIGINAL characters and that includes ALL of them that you may know.

Guy Gardner is a street kid - this guy is nuthin like him - Fire is supposed to be brazillian - this was a fail - but I'll watch n e way

@MrTerrificII By creator do you mean Martin the guy who drew him in the golden age or the Guardians because Martin had nothing to do with the modern age Lanterns. Also what is your point? lol i was just trying to prove Alan is not a Green Lantern he is Green Lantern big difference and you just further proved my point. Also considering Batman has always been Bruce Wayne i don't think there is an original just one, sure he's been changed in personality but not identity as for superman idk much

@TheGunpeX He may not be part of the "Green Lanterns" or the "Corps," however, he is the ORIGINAL Green Lantern! Alan Scott was given that title by the CREATOR of Green Lantern! Alan was the Green Lantern in the late 1930s! NO ONE gives this man any respect! The same can be said of the original Superman and Batman! In fact, the original Batman died in Adventure Comics in the late 1970s and he is practically unknown to modern comicbook readers!

@thecooooolcat You are correct on how light and airy this JL pilot is an I think until recently the people that had TV & Movie rights to comic book properties were old baby boomers who grew up reading comics in the early 60s and stopped. So their comic book world is like the old Batman comedy from the 60s (a great comedy series but not where comics are now). So we had to wait till the comic book readers who took over from the old babyboomers to come for movies and TV to cathc up.
Comic Book readers take themselves so seriously! This is a failed pilot for a series that never was, made at a time when awful was standard! It can't hurt anyone - just lighten up & enjoy it!
kookevin3 - great upload! Cheers.

@bradleyto ~Allan Scott is the original GL. Lame as his powers were, he's still the 1st. Your opinion will never change that.
