Soupy is one of the nicest people you cold meet. We waited for him to come from back stage at the bottom line, he greeted us like he knew us all of his life.
There will be only one Soupy in this world, and he's it.

@moonshinerman Thanks for reminding me ,about the 12:00 lunch time sirens , that was probably a NYC tradition, i remember as a child, we always knew when it was lunch time, did'nt need a watch ! I watched all the 50's60's kids show's too. Terrytoon Circus ,channel 9, was always bedtime , when Claude Kirchner would say '' and now its time for most of you girls and boys to go to bed ''. Great memories , still fresh in my mind .

Soupy Sales was interviewed at the Friars Club during the 100th Anniversary in 2002. Therefore, 1902 + 100 = 2002.

How old would he be now? I guess he was at least in his late 20s at the height of his fame, plus 45 years--early 70s?
