  • Bang on Wolfgath,I've seen your posts elsewhere,I know who's style of JKD you lean towards. This is a Sifu who points out timeafter time after time that you should only fight when all other avenues have been totally exhausted,when you really,really have to! This does make Lamar seem a little petty!

  • So does Lamar threaten to fight anyone who disagrees with him or what? The sign of a very poor teacher who challenges his critics to combat, a true lack of maturity and surplus of ignorance. Even if you beat someone up who questions you it doesnt make you correct. If you cant deal with it maybe you should tell your students to take your clips off youtube. They aren't very good anyway, mostly poor chi-sao from what I've seen. So now I guess you want to fight me as well right?

  • This kind of people are great pretenders of jeet kune do. All they do is discuss and discuss, demo and demo, but they couldn't even fight in real life. That's the saying - Those who can't do, teach.. But the bad thing is, this lamar crap can't even teach as well. He's teaching b.s. and crapness to the highest degree.

  • This Lamar is stupid.. If i'm the guy he's demonstrating with, at 1:15 I could hit the back of his head with a spinning back elbow downwards so hard he'll be knocked out so bad he wouldn't get up so easily.. How stupid this teacher is. In some of his video here on youtube, comments are disabled because whoever posted the video can't even defend this stupid Lamar crap..

  • I was shown the technique in defensive tactics and the hand placement was the same except we were shown placement more into the center of the neck. We executed standing and from the ground. Applied correctly you could get someone out in about 8 seconds

  • In brazilian Jiu jitsu we call the head and arm triangle, I can't remember what they call it in Judo. Its hard as hell to get to work from standing. I suppose the leg sectoring might help affect the choke but there is just a lot wiggle room in the hips and they can turn into you a lot easier. not saying it wouldn't work, just that it is not easy from standing. Best to not think of it as just the biceps, but also as a choke involving the lats as well.

  • Kata Gatame...in Judo anyways, another variation is to clasp the bicep making the hold much tighter.

Your poor sarcastic remarks only illustrate your own infantile stupidity and I have my doubts that you could even find Canada on a map of the world.

That was kind of you. Until then, I hear there is alot of good psychiatrists up there in Canada. You might want to invest in some therapy. Bitterness can lead to bad health.
