Murphy: Um, you know, because, I come out of the blue swing state governor world. Engler, Whitman, Tommy Thompson, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, I mean, and these guys, this is all how you win a Texas race, just run it up, and it's not gonna work.

Noonan: It's Over.

Murphy: Still, McCain can give a version of the Lieberman speech and do himself some good.

Todd: [can't really tell what he says, but he mentions something about "insulting to Kay Baily Hutchinson]

Noonan: [says something I can't understand]

Todd: She's never looked comfortable up there..

Murphy: Oh, fuck that.

Todd: I mean, is she really the most qualified woman they can obtain?

Noonan: The most qualified? No. I think they went for this, excuse me, political bullshit about narratives...[couldn't hear the end of it]

Todd: Yeah, but what's a narrative?

Murphy: I totally agree.

Noonan: Every time Republicans do that, because that's not where they live and it's not what they're good at, they blow it.

Murphy: You know what's the worst thing about it, the greatest of McCain is no cynicism, and..

Murphy and Todd together: This is cynical.

Todd: And as you called it, gimmicky.

I think the Vp is very important in this race do to the fact both pres cand. are risk of, I hate saying it but death one do to his color and I am sorry i wish it wasnt but we know there are few still racist and then mccains age and cancer and i do beleive the sarah palin pick was a huge sign of poor judgment

You touched on this subject with that guy earlier, but I would appreciate you to elaborate on this. I guess the problem is I just don't know as much about who makes what decisions in the white house to combat this argument. I'm very much playing catch up as I don't follow politics all the time, but I do my best to make an educated decision when going to the polls. I would appreciate any comments from either side.

That debate with lifeasahandbag was so much more enjoyable than the presidential debates haha. I'm a man of logic and science, not english, so I'll state my question as best I can. I have a republican friend who says that Bush and republicans in general have nothing to do with the state of the country. The only thing I could think if is maybe bush had nothing to do with this since he's taken more time off than any other president in history, so I guess he's off the hook.

Palin is pond scum and needs to crawl back to her Alaskan mudhole where she belongs. She will never be anything in the US political system. More people hate her than not. I don't even know if Alaska wants her back as Governor. Maybe they will impeach her on ethics charges. That would be fitting.
