Ive only done 2 confined water dives but im on my way to a full certification and one of the tests we had to do was 8 laps in an olympic sized pool. She would never pass. These people are idiots. And CarMoves is right. Throwing a tank on some idiot doesnt make them a scuba diver.

They should never have let her use the kit if she cant swim. There are places that wont even let you buy or hire unless you produce a divers cert and your log book.
I'm all for revoking the certificates of any and all that let people do this.
