Superman vs Captain Atom

Here is a great fight between the "Man of Steel" SUPERMAN versus the "Radioactive Rebel" CAPTAIN ATOM in one of the episodes of Justice League Unlimited. Superman and the Huntress were trying to rescue the Question from the hands of CADMUS when they encounter Captain Atom, who now works for the government. Captain Atom proved to be a formidable opponent to Superman as he could emit red sun radiation (one of Kal-El's weaknesses)from his hands in addition to his massive strength and invulnerable metallic body. In the beginnng, Captain Atom dominated the face-off by scoring a lot of atomic punches and energy blasts at Superman. The Question and the Huntress managed to escape as the battle between the two super heroes shook the whole underground military compound. In the end, Superman emerged victorious as he carried a broken and defeated Captain Atom in his arms to the JL watch tower.

If Captain Atom was smarter, he should have emitted Kryptonite radiation. That would've subdued Superman a lot quicker than the red sun radiation.

@Machdude First off, what is the Saiyan disease? Superman's fighting skills are very lacking. Anyone who has any kind of power can put up a fight against him because they are usually more skilled. When Superman fights an exceptionally skilled opponent they usually wind up beating him.

@Machdude Piccolo stated that Gotenks was buus complete equal and we see that throughout the entire fight but gohan completely manhandled buu. Light never lingers gotenks was faster than the light so he caught up to it before it disappeared. He had to be faster than light or else he wouldnt have caught up to it as seen in the manga.

On the other hand, Darkseid has proven himself to be just as strong as Superman and quite possibly even stronger. Unlike Superman, he is notable to being only slower in speed while being better in nearly everything else. In his case, it is not that Superman is unskilled, he is just much better in combat.
