i shot this bull one day after buying my new Z7 mathews bow at 25 yards after staying in the hide for more than 5 hours, the bow was set at 68 # and 28 " was using a Easton Nfused Axis carbon arrows with montec 3 blades broad-heads 125 grains the arrow speed was 245 FPS, it was a double lung shot and the arrow went through.
this was my 1st bow hunt ever after shooting targets for so many years.

  • Nice shot. I loved the slow motion.

  • @spur79

    glad you like it

  • Nice shot... Hows the Z7 Shoot?

  • @Tjapp93

words can never tell, you would have to try it to know how much a joy it is to shoot it. i've tried other bows before buying it , but the z7 chose me.

  • sweet dude. just got mine yesterday. cant have it til christmas though. I have one question for everyone. i just got this new bow and accicedntly dry fired it. will it do any serious damage if it happend just once.

  • somtimes all it takes is one dry fire to damage a compound bow, a friend of mine dry fired my apex 7 before and it damaged the cam, the shop siad i was very lucky it didn't affect the limbs or crack them. check ur bow closely for any damage.

  • you don't need Z7 for that distance.... lol

  • oi bro u have a little something on your forhead

  • i like the z7 but in the netherland is it to expensive so i am going to buy a dr2 or hyperlite

  • @4302225040070674 thats why i like to sight in my bow to shoot a little low for when they jump the strng....

  • See how the animal moves alittle before the arrow hits. And ur arrow has to move at 770 fps before a whitetail can't jump ur arrow

  • @72288kip Actually i bet they taste a bit like bufffalo whch is really good

  • @spur79 nice dude very good shot and also i loved the slow motion and how do you like the Z7 my father just bought himself a black one and i got a camo one but i havent had the chance to get mine set up just wondering what your opinion is on the new bow

  • i am an avid michigan bowhunter and a whitetail freak...but whats the point in killing a wildabeast? i'm sure it tasts awesome...not

  • @RealtreeWV ya take it in because especially if it is at high poundage it could very well be done for....

  • That is so very kewl...you shot targets for years and now have harvested a great Bull with the skill that you had built with all that practice, congrats. And congrats on your first too.

    Great shot, beauty Bull...awesome footage.
