We saw Portishead here in New Zealand and despite the three gobby, largely drunk philistines behind us the band were absolutely stellar. Easily made my top 5 gigs of all time. Can't wait to see any new DVD releases, but I doubt any DVD could rattle my organs like they did live. :-)

manco82 - I can never get past people at concerts who have no sense of when to simply be quiet and let themselves be taken away. I always wanted to silence the moron who whooped and hollered as he realised Neil Young had actually started playing The Needle and the Damage Done on his Unplugged DVD.

I ended up here because i was looking up a song that someone sampled from this band that i never herd of. Judging by the comments im seeing, this bad must sing about some really anti religious, blasphemous things or at least this song(correct me if im wrong) so i will spare myself the lyrics and just say that i would love to learn how to play the guitar like that guy on the left.
