I was fortunate enough to be invited to participate in a "Corrido" concert in Boise, ID in 2010. Juan Manuel Barco was the main songwriter on that program. It was a just a once in a lifetime honor to work with this great song writer and performer. Sometimes we don't think about who wrote the lyrics and music to these great songs and who lived the life that is still going on out there.

Takes me back, I lived in Laredo Texas & did live out this song. I dedicate it to all those Dads that strived 4 a better life working as migrant workers back in the day. Appreciate what you have.

This has turned out to the theme for the long suffering "campesinos" the farm workers that have endured all for a better way of life. Awesome song, Jay is the VOICE.
