How about dealing with the "Entitlement" Customer. The one who sees an 2 months old ad for something that's 50% off. They go to the store and its no longer available. They complain to the Service Rep and when they tell them that it was sold out months ago, They want your supervisor for your rude attitude.
The truth is, customers aren't just the only guilty party. Its the supervisor who gives you "The Talking Point" that doesn't convince anyone. Then chastises you when they don't buy into it.
I couldn't agree more. I used to work in retail, and I hated the people who treated my coworkers and me like garbage. Yes I do get paid to help you, but I do not get paid to be abused by you.
I work a customer service phone job and the idea that the customer is always right is absolute rubbish, 98% of the calls I get are cm's that are upset about something stupid they have done and then blame the company for it. I mean really, if I could just waive your late fee would I say no and listen to you scream at me? Why would I do that to myself?? IT WAS LATE! Therefore, you have a LATE FEE! I'm not trying to be unhelpful, it's not my fault you were late. IT'S YOURS!!!!
.....she continued to talk shit and I just wanted to rip her head off because I was being nice to her the whole time and I'm a hard worker and definitely didn't deserve the way she was treating me. Anyway I know your video is old but I just got off work and came on utube to see if anyway one else had similar stories. It really pisses me off that they think they can belittle us and treat us like we have no feelings. Anyway thanks and keep your head up.

Me " I can help you at this register" customer " why are you too lazy to come to this one" Me " No that register just happens to have frozen one me" Customer " Shut up" ..I just ignored her..Me " Do you have a return" Customer " Duhh stupid nooo I have a purchase" I work at the return station at my store but ppl do come to make purchases/payments/exchanges that is why I asked
I totally agree with this. I'm tired of being asked for discounts or why stuff is so expensive. I just sell it. I don't make the prices!
