was wondering what your fuel consumption was by the time you got back to Bishop. your Blazer is about as big a gas hog as my Ramcharger i figure, except mine is has a manual tranny. just as a guess as to what i need to take with when i go up there. my tank is 35 gallons.

@blueduster74 I don't think I used a quarter tank... I remember it was not what I expected. I only get 10mpg and I have a 32 gallon tank. I think I used a quarter tank max.

When you popped the wine, it became my kind of camping. I always like to have some form of total decadence with me like that.

I like to be comfortable and somewhat sofisticated when I camp. Brings something else to the table as far as ambience is concerned.

The car reminds me of the little train that could. I think I can. I think I can. I dont know about anyone else but that land is outright scary to me. Not much to survive on in a pinch. Maybe, it is just unfamiliar.
The coolers were reassuring. Supplies to walk out if needed.

I had at least 4 to 5 days worth of food and water with me. Not to mention water filters. And there were hundreds and hundreds of head of cattle and a creek full of fish. On top of all that, I must have seen at least 20 people that day. I didn't show any of them in the videos.
