Guangzhou View from skyrise apartment complex

Guangzhou is an extremely compact city filled with Cantonese speakers. I'll never forget my 100mph bus ride from the airport to the city. We raced into the city as we wound our way through narrow high-rise freeways that were nearly level with 50-story buildings that were squeezed up to either side of the way. I could see into people's homes as I looked down into the windows of skyscrapers. Tropical trees and bushes covered the tops of buildings and protruded out many of the windows. Unfortunately, I didn't get to film that part of my adventure, but this video will give you an idea of how compact this city is.
