  • @JesusinEndTimes Paul washer is rejoicing way more he is praising the lord for everything he has done. He has joy in salvation and in Christ. His testimony is really Jesus saved even someone like him, Paul washer sat in his room day after day until Jesus saved him he didn't just say a prayer to have Jesus he seeked the lord.

go to the YouTube bar and type in (Paul washer closet) it should be the first one. That is his real testimony.

  • I find, Paul Washer goes way out of his way to be dramatic. He forces his voice to be overly inflectious. He makes a point to sound overly profound and emotional. Every video of him on Youtube, he sounds exasperated. This is a old technique used by many TV evangelist to bolster themselves as "a man of God." He doesn't do this at a crescendo of his speech, but does this in virtually every sentence he speaks. Sometimes he uses a exasperated inflection, several times - in one sentence.

  • Actually, I like Bentley's testimony better! He gets to make all the decisions, tell God what to do and when to do it. He gets to sit on the throne of his own life and call the shots. Who wouldn't want that? Jesus wasn't even Lord until Todd "made" him Lord - that is way cool - I want that kind of power - sign me up!! (said tongue in cheek)

  • Actually the reason why many people like Paul Washer once then after the stop liking his messages is that he travels around the world reforming churches who have gone off the path, or he is invited to preach in a church that brings in lost people. If Paul Washer had one church that he pastored he would not nee to preach like the way he does - I have been listening to him for 6 years and never walk away angry with him or feeling hopeless :) but always praising the Lord.

  • For example how often do you see washer raise his hands up and praise Jesus with a true joy filled smile ? I more see him pointing a finger at the audience and making a left right left hand movement across his body. To me it gets old, because after one repents of sin, they rejoice in the presence of God. And every time I hear washer, he is like a broken record, talking people down for what they aren't doing, and not encouraging them. I guess it works for some, just not always for me.

  • @pmusicmaker300 I totally agree. I don't think one is better than the other. Each have their ups and downs. Perhaps one is more committed to repentance ministry, but then again when I hear him talk about people asking him " How do you preach like that"- Washer, I think he speaks with inner pride, thinking he is somehow better than others. Bentley has his downs, but Jesus is our only UP, we are ALL work in progress. Having said this, the fruit that people bare is always the good indicator.

  • For example I don't always hear Washer speaking with joy. Or happy. He is a good repentance preacher, but I have seen "happier" people, not just constantly broken records speaking on the same subject. I am not advocating Bentley, just saying people do have different strengths and weaknesses.

  • Who are we to judge who is geniune ? I have backslid before, but earlier I was so in love with Jesus, filled with His Spirit. Since I have met others, of whom I cannot tell wether they had been of the Spirit or not. I could guess, I could not know. The true intentions of the heart, in the dark, alone, only God knows. I don't always agree with Washer. He had his own experience, people have different conversion experiences, the rest is doctrinal debates, personalities.

  • @aioee

  • Paul Washer is genuine.
