Steel #432 is a ~4-5yr old, neutered-male, black and white purebred Siberian Husky with blue eyes! Steel just completed his heartworm treatment (3/14/11) and is available for adoption! Steel is in fostercare in Tallahassee, FL with Siberian Husky Rescue of FL. Go to: www.siberrescue.com

Steel is a handsome blue-eyed adult and a gentleman to boot. He is a nice, relaxing walking buddy and is guaranteed to get you "oohs" and "aahs" from all on-lookers. Although Steel looks forward to his a strolls through the park, he is much more of a couch potato just waiting for a good rub.

His favorite thing is having his humans pet him and he will be sure to let you know that. He will rub up against you and, in a sort of sagging, slow motion, sink to the ground and slowly roll on his back, making it obvious that you are supposed to start rubbing his belly.

Although Steel has successfully lived, and lives now, with other dogs, his foster Mom is sure he would be just as happy in a forever home by himself where he is guaranteed good lovin'!

Steel has shown a typical Husky prey drive so a home with cats and other small or farm type animals is not advised.

He loves rawhides and Kongs and will do almost ANYTHING with the motivation of food, although, at 64 pounds, he needs to watch his treat intake.

Steel is crate-trained but as cuddly as he is, he probably won't need any crate. He'd rather be close to his humans.

Steel came to us with Heartworm and is currently under treatment. We anticipate a complete recovery and expect him to be available for adoption in mid to late March 2011.
