do they stay in well? can you use it on a scalp? im thinking about putting one in a first aid kit, for VERY bad cuts, as a last resort.

I like the idea of having a second pair of hands to approximate the incision with forceps. I'll have to suggest that the next time I see one of the doctors in my clinic struggling on their own. Most of the time we use staples, it's for scalp lacerations.
