yeah this is incredible, what I want to capture is something like that, but there has been a lot time since the last storm

IanChuey1996 Yes, I know... spur of the moment storm with no camera so I went to the local Wal*Mart and bought a Cheap $99.00 Samsung Digital Camera (my very first digital camera) so I didn't really know what I was even doing?? I'm no videographer just a chic who loves storms and thought it would be fun to try and capture something?? Thanks for the comment!! :)

Sorry for the delay in responding to you . Actually when this storm came I wanted to get it recorded somehow so I jammed over to a local Wal* Mart and purchased a cheapy Samsung Digital Camera the only camera they had left and it was $99.00.. This was my first storm using a digital camera the quality isn't good but this camera had minimal settings for 2008.

The lightnings are impressive but you can't appreciate them because of the vid quality, but it's cool

I remember when I was a kid in New Mexico, especially during the summer, the storms would roll in all the way across the horizon, and the lightening displays were so brilliant, I'd stand on our porch and watch them for hours! Nice catch!

Hmmm... That is a problem...Well I guess If they don't come to you, guess you gotta go to them :) Unfortunately Monsoon season is coming to an end in Arizona but maybe some good winter spectaculars will head your way :) At least you will be ready with a GOOD camera you know HOW to use :)

@Bridport6705 I used it as a double meaning :) Thanks for the spell check though :) Appreciate it!! And YES I do the LIGHTENING on my ~hair hence the double meaning :) I was hit by a collateral strike back in 2008 and all my hair fell out~ I looked like Billy Idol so people started calling me LIGHTENING GIRL for the double meaning of my hair and the bolt.. Ha,ha,ha...Many thanks!!
