I had a chance to see Stephen Bishop perform live the other night and got permission to upload two videos. This is Stephen performing his academy award nominated song "Separate Lives" which was performed by Phil Collins in the movie "White Knights" at Kulak's Woodshed in North Hollywood, Ca.

wow! I have always loved this song sung by Phil Collins... My friend and I always sing this duet on karaoke! I didn't know Stephen Bishop wrote this..... such a sad emotional song yet so beautiful.... :)

Years ago i was at Steve's house (he's a friend of a friend) and the two of us were sitting there and he asked if he could play a new song he wrote. It was "Separate Lives." I will NEVER forget that.

I remain a big fan of Stephen even since the release of Careless in 76. I think his version is far superior than the movie soundtrack. Thanks for posting this.
