@krstnlhjt They were the same breed with many colour- and coat varieties in the 19th century until they decided to breed the German Shepherd with the properties that people wanted, coat- , appearance- and colourwise as characterwise. Look at the white shepherds and you'll know more about what German Sh. come from originally.

Alaska is a female. There were 3 dogs in the Send me and Angel clip. Short coated male "Avalanche", short coated female "Alaska" and female puppy "Paris". "Paris" is now 31/2 years old and "Angelica" is her daughter:-))

Not trying to be stupid, but is the White Swiss Shepard related to the White German shepard? I am not sure what the differences of the two breeds are. They are both so amazing
