@1954771 but d'you think after an artist's concert had been sold out and a lots of money had gone into planning the tour and booking the place and location and everything, that the managers would be kind enough to cancel it and say, "ohh dear you're hungover/too pissed/too high so you don;t need to perform even though we spent billions of [insert currency here]into this" Sometimes artists cancel their own concerts cos of exhaustion or something but i feel that sometimes they also

@1954771 yeah i couldn't watch those videos. They were utterly disgusting. I know what you mean about the prescription drugs but M.J. according to reports by someone close to him was saying he thrived on them and probably didn't eat either. Prescription drugs can also be just as dangerous if you overdose. Some are saying it was linked to his death- the wrong ones probably. It would be nice if artists weren't allowed to go on stage anytime they were too pissed or too high

@chocoholicSISTA263 ctd..there and then and said "Enough",i'm not blaming him for 1 second for the state Amy was in and the people who let her go on in the first place are at fault but he always called Amy a friend and was the one nearest to her most of the time,to he honest when I first saw footage of the show I could believe what I was seeing - I never understood why he carried on.

@chocoholicSISTA263 Perscription drugs are a little different,i'm talking illegal or drink-not if an artist has been prescribed something by a doctor not being able to perform but if when they are to go onstage a pre drugs test or a breathalyser before shows positive then no go.I think it was disgusting how Amy was allowed onstage in Belgrade and I said over and over many times -at the time not afer Amys death -that Zalon Thompson should have just grabbed the mic ..ctd

@chocoholicSISTA263 I agree. The sad fact of the matter is there will at some point be another artist who dies of drink or drugs and lots of music fans have been saying for decades that a lot of the industry needs cleaning up but tgings carry on regardless and artists still die.To me if rules were in place there would still be those who wouldn't care and carry on but most artists, especially those at the top would think twice if they were not allowed to perform.

@1954771 Loads of artists have died over "drug overdose" and in the case of M.J. he was always taking prescription tablets and he was clearly ill and in the end all fingers were pointed at Dr. Murray. The fact of the matter is we don't always know what happens in the music industry. If they truly did care, even for a few minutes, maybe just maybe M.J, Whitney, and Amy and even janis joplin, heath ledger and brittany murphy would all still be alive..

@1954771 Whitney houston on the last night she went out was getting pissed and her "entourage" and body guard watched her do it. At the pre grammy party organized by Clive Davis, whitney's manager had tons of drinks and drugs knowing she was battling it. Many celebrities get involved in drugs and drinks cos they go through a lot that we don't seem to know about. Cos their managers and record companies don't give two shits about them. They only care about making money out of them.

@1954771 ohh right, sorry didn't understand what you were trying to get at at first. Yeah those things could've helped but still they've been going on for ages. Which shows that the managers and people looking out for the artists don't really care about their welfare.
The original Amy Whinehouse, what a beautiful & talented young woman..She makes me think of Billie Holliday.
