Dude, are those lights not to bright in the dark, so that the thiefs can see the camera very well ???
It looks to me a like the lights that are on at the moment that night vision is on, it shows to much light ???

i have a similer model but only works as wireles,
great nitevision and color is good during the day as well, unfortunatly it did not work well for my purpose as i tryed to use it on moveing atv's as a wireless atv cam.
the signal gets lost as soon as they hit the gass,

Oh and btw, I think you should just watch the video and talk in a mic. and just put it like that. That would make the audio quality better and no one would notice the changes when you switch locations.

ya, I may. Its just harder to make the audio correspond with whats happening in the video. t will seem off.
