In this game I played a live ICC Blitz game against a Grandmaster who I beat on time, although I was still easily ahead. The game is an excellent example of the Narjdorf variation + the use of an exchange sack in order to consolidate my position and move for the win. Hope you all enjoy!

  • loose the music in the B. G, ANNOYING

  • @TheKingtut777 you really don't like stevie wonder?

  • I wondered if you considered 20... Qc8, attacking both the knight on c3 and the pawn on f5 instead of Qc6.

I know blitz is basically 90% nerves and 10% instinct and I don't really know if it's sound but it looked tempting.

  • @colourmegone actually i did consider it briefly but i really wanted to get more out of the position than just a pawn. also, i thought the pawn on f5 wasn't very important in the position and i would probly be able to win it later. thanks for watching, hope you enjoyed

  • Excellent comments, thx!

  • ...and if he plays a5 (1 second elapses) ... he didn't play a5. LOL!

  • good stuff. thanks for the upload.

  • @YtubeUserr I was thinking on the lines of 14... Nxe4 15. Nxe4 Bxh4. But then 16. Nxd6 seems like trouble for Black. Thanks for your response.
