This shows that the HSWK route is faster than the normal.

It was tough to decide the best strat at the big house but it came out very clean.

I spent about 5.5k rerecords in total, it can probably be improved with more testing and a better synchrony with the spinning platform.

I'd say this can be improved by 1 ~2 secs with a lot of testing.

HSWK isn't about wallkicking a lot, it's about having a long air time, the wallkicks just stop Mario's fall.

Why don't you HSWK between the blue box and the outside of the maze wall? Those walls are way closer and you should gain speed faster, no?

It's simple physics, really. He converted his kinetic energy into stored potential energy when he hit the pole, then converted it back into kinetic energy when he reached the bottom so he could launch himself to the house.
