Sonic 3 is owned by Sega, 1994
I said this is '3' and not '3D' so don't worry. Jay is here and we're going to fight it out.

  • I remember playing this game (S3 & Knuckles) on my PC years ago. When playing Sonic I alway got stuck on the Carnival level until I figured out I was suposed to press up and down to get down from where I was. it took 7 years but I finally got it!

From my opinion, the music is not "Sonic", it's hard to explain, but it feels like it belongs to other game. Knuckles-version had better music IMO. The version that I'm playing is the PS2-version (Sonic Mega Collection +) and the game has same music.

  • And SEGA is going to have hard time to outdo Sonic 3 & Knuckles with Sonic 4. Ending of Sonic 3 & Knukles was as epic as a platformer can get, there is simply no way SEGA can make it better then this.

  • @FINbrutal1ty Yeah, that's going to be a hard game to top but at least it's not going to be another 3D mess, eh?

  • @FINbrutal1ty Yeah, I think only a few PC versions had the music altered. It was weird when there was some digital voices in the background music in the background music so maybe that's why it feels so different, eh?

  • @FINbrutal1ty I know some music was changed in the PC games for some reason.

  • What do you say Jay? Yeah.

  • @ronmower 75 out of 100!?!

Yeah, I agree. Sonic 4 is deffinetly going to be better then 3D Sonic's, but my worst nightmare is that it's going to be as linear as Sonic Rush on DS. Old Sonic games had more non-linear level design.

I agree about the music too. For example, when you meet the first boss in level 1-1 when it burns the Angel island, there is this weird "COME ON" sound in the beginning. It dosen't fit IMO in a Sonic game.

  • @starsoldier1 That's Jay for ya heh heh.

  • @JasonRelaxation Don't worry dude I'll buy you some tampons to make sure your feelings are not hurt.
