  • Yes, really, really outstanding! Many thanks to Scalatti for posting, to AE for sending to Nate, who in turn has forwarded this way. Thanks to all!

  • A tremendous performance in the grand manner—and the authentic manner, too. Fabulous messa-di-voce and a masterful high arch to the soft high C, as written. Supreme.

  • The power of many angels are in the voice of this phenomenal artist.

  • Awesome! TY

  • sublime !

  • Yes, Arangi-Lombardi is great and virtually unknown today except by record collectors. But I do like Ponselle in this, and several others such as Destinn (a famous recording), Giannini, Rethberg, L. Price, Tebaldi, and Callas. All of these greats sing in the grand manner. Thanks, AE, for sending, and thanks to Scalatti for posting.

  • This is absolutely Brilliant!!! Thank you so much for posting it.

  • Stunning!
