I used to work at Thrifty Drugs for almost five years back in '85-'89. They had the BEST ice cream. As an employee, I used to get a triple scoop of chocolate brownie, chocolate malted crunch and some apple flavored one. I can't remember the name of it but,again,as an employee, it was a HUGE triple scoop. More than we gave out to customers. The fringe benefits of working there. Ah!!!! The memories!!!!

I worked at a thrifty in sacramento from 89-90. Ice cream scooper. Got fired for giving huge scoops to friends. Doh! :). Thanks or the video, man!

Thirfty's will always have a special place in my heart .

There was one located right next top Toys R' Us here in West Los Angeles, and we'd often go there right after buying toys.
