  • What JUNK

    NOT AMERICAN

  • Is this really how Dodge is going to bring back the Dart name? Boy, a lot of old timers are going to be mad. I know my dad is, considering the fact that our '69 Dart is still in the family.

  • @gilligan07734 - The online prices are for survey purposes. They are trying to find out which options/packages people will want on their cars and what they'd pay for em. I wouldn't expect the price to climb very much, if any at all.

  • he states at the end that the starting price is under 16k but if you look at the website they start at 17k. that extra thousand+ makes a big difference when you look at the convenience packages that are necessary to make this car equal to other similarly priced cars.

  • @moparman1117 From Wiki... "The chassis is a modified (shortened wheelbase) version of the LX platform that underpins the 2006–Current Dodge Charger, 2005–2008 Dodge Magnum, and the 2005–Current Chrysler 300. ... Many Mercedes components were incorporated, including the Mercedes-Benz W220 S-class control arm front suspension, the Mercedes-Benz W210 E-Class 5-link rear suspension, the W5A580 5-speed automatic, the rear differential, and the ESP system"

  • @bramblecino dude its based on the 1970 dodge challenger and not a mercedes so get ur facts right look up the 1970 online

  • The front looks like the bastard child of a Golf VI and a Mitsi Lancer.

  • @WarSong92 It's no secret that the charger/ challenger of current models were based on the Mercedes w210 chassis of 1996. Europe pretty much saved this brand.

  • It's European, based on an ALFA ROMEO. Too bad it has that dodge logo on it.

  • The new car has nice features with all of the gadgets, but what happened to the style? Dodge could at least do a throw back to when American cars had style like they did with the challenger. In fact, all of the new models have aggressive American styling. This is not a Dart. It might be right for the "global" market but not with the Dart name. The styling of this car makes Dart abandon its identity. I am guessing fiat is to blame.
