Today (January 31) we walked in on the Acting I class taught by Assistant Professor of Drama Hillary Bucs. This "shoe relay race" is designed to "warm the students up," she says. Speaking of acting, the University's Stageless Players will present a musical comedy, "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," in Sleith Auditorium on March 30 at 7:00 p.m. and March 31 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Tickets cost $3 for students, $5 for alumni, and $7 for the general public. For more information, contact laura.rogalski@wne.edu or 413-796-2297. Also, the University's own improvisational comedy troupe Improv on the Rocks will participate in a regional college improv tournament on February 23 at 9:00 p.m. at Improv Boston. The following night the group will present its own show at the same venue at 8:00 p.m.
