I am old enough to remember these stunning engines lined up to be scrapped, to see one in full steam hurtling down the track again . Is nothing short of a miracle . & is a credit to all involved,They have recreated a piece of histoy for every one to share & enjoy.

there are details on the trust's website, jus search for a1 tornado trust. then look at 'travel with tornado for info on the tours and the companies running them. most tickets will likely be £50-80 per adult

Excellent shot and whistle

What ruins the image is the electric pylons, bring it to the GW Line!
Beautiful sight nonetheless!

For an old steamer it sure is quick.

It would be awesome to see this locomotive run in person. I saw the UP 3985 Challenger a long time ago and would really like to see it again.

Man, she's highballin'!! That's why we need more trains like that in America...

It was a cold, cold day, but well worth it, never expected my shakey video to be 40,000 hitter. (I was using the tripod for the stills camera at the time)
