A hilarious video of a cameraman taking a blow to the face after an experiment using a Diet Coke bottle and Mentos turns violent has surfaced online. In the video, the man making the Coke and soft mint concoction waits nervously for the ingredients inside the bottle to set off the chemical reaction. A few seconds later, the soda bottle powers up and the man makes a run for it before the bottle erupts. Unfortunately the cameraman couldn't escape in time and the exploding bottle makes a beeline for the camera lens. After the bottle smashes into the camera, it knocks it and the cameraman to the grass while the prankster is heard laughing in the background. The experiment is popular in the US where people combine the two ingredients together in an attempt to soak their victim in the fizzy stuff.
