Thank you everyone for all the wonderful comments. Any and all feedback is of course welcome.

You can get the backing track here:
http://www.guitarbackingtrack.com/play/clapton,_eric/layla.htm

Also, I don't have tabs for this. The chords can be found online but all the solos are improvised. Here are the chords:
http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/e/eric_clapton/layla_acoustic_ver2_tab.htm

I know its the acoustic chord chart but it uses the same chords as the electric version.

The first solo is in D and the solo during the piano part is in C. Thank you everyone for watching! Covering the Clapton classic by Derek & The Dominos. Again, all solos are improvised on the spot. My playing isn't totally smooth but that's alright, all part of the magic that is music.

  • MAN! i've been searching tab for the solo in the middle FOREVER! please help me!

  • @rgms23 Well I improvised this one so I don't have tabs but I think sites like Ultimate Guitar might have some. I know they used to have a Powertab file that was quite good. Hopefully its still there. Thanks for watching!

  • @Canika96 Thanks so much for the kind words!

  • @guitarmike26 Very interesting, because the sound of the first half is very fluid and nice ;) and is a sound a little difficult to create. (Sorry for bad english )

  • @Canika96 Yes on this video I was using a Digitech Clapton pedal which I think is now discontinued. I was using it for the overdriven sound you hear in the first half of the song. In the second half you are hearing just the amp.

  • Do you use any pedal??

  • @85alextaylor Sounds very cool, I'll have to check it out.

  • Sweet! I like this one and one cover by "Brandon Ray Collins" the best. He uses a loop pedal, sings and does the acoustic version... pretty awesome
