Once again: I LOVE THIS WOMAN. Some one has said that it's 10,000 better when a woman plays. No she's not a woman, she's not a she, is a Godess,
-
@PlayFaceify She plays just right, the composer and the conductor are the ones that set the tempo.
-
@happieade I wonder why some people take time to push the "dislike" button .. anywhere.
In this case may be (I hope) the fact that the last notes were cut.

1. Allegro molto moderato
2. Adagio
3. Allegro moderato molto e marcato Quasi presto - Andante maestoso
The piano concerto in A minor Op. 16 is one of the most well-known Grieg's works. It first hearing took place in Leipzig, 1872.
Wonderful rendition !

Saw this performance live in Chicago at Grant Park a couple years ago.... truly amazing

Oh Booooo! it got cut off and it's such a great finish! Seoul has a very good orchestra.
-
I agree about cutting it off. It should not have been difficult to put each movement on a separate video and play the whole thing without cutoffs.
-
@pouetpouetpinpon I was thinking just that but isn't it the double bass? Sounds quite low.
-
she plays too fast!!
hate how the end is cut off.

This is a most stunning performance of my all time favourite piece of music. Valentina caresses the keys with passion and you can see the passion in her face and in her bodily movements.
The fact that the very end is cut off caused me pain, I have to say. I would love to see that formidable conclusion played out properly with everyone's reactions.
I also note that there are 16 poor souls who dislike perfection.
