@wdbisl The series works a lot better on understanding on a rewatch due to having that spoiler given to you near the last few episodes. I will say you shouldn't be scared. Honestly I was the same as you and kept putting it off, but then I watched it. I will say it wasn't what I expected.

@keitsumi Honestly the first half of the series kinda bored me, but I liked the second half. Overall I would say it was alright, if nothing else it was thought provoking. As long as you know this one spoiler about lain from the start everything kinda makes more sense.

Wow I'm amazed, only because of the reminder of the original E-mail you gave (the God thing) I have understood the plot though I still personally wouldn't recomend Lain and would have far prefered it as a novel though still, thanks for the reminder.
