This has to Paul's one of the best solos....even better than those which have millions of views. What phrasing , structure and feeling this one have. He looks possessed by a demon in this one lol !

When he turns on the distortion at 3:12 He does it so smoothly. Such a badass solo, I can't believe they are playing Y.R.O!

@k1kac0 I'm not sure, but I think he's using some kind of Tubscreamer here as distortion at some parts...

It's a bit difficult to say who is the 'Champion' of guitar players. Paul Gilbert is one of my favorites, along with Mark Temonti, Joe Bonamassa, Tom Morello, Mark Knoppfler and others. It comes down to personal preferance who you like, so just enjoy, and don't compare. Just chill. Guitarplaying is not a sport, it's an art, a form of expression, so allow these guys to say what they need to say.
