Nevermind The Buzzcocks, Alan Merrill, Arrows

Arrows lead singer Alan Merrill gets a turn at being part of the mystery lineup on Nevermind The Buzzcocks in 2002. A no brainer for the panel, which included Skid Row's Sebastian Bach.
There's a glimpse of Arrows performing their 1974 top ten record "touch too much," which reached #6 in the NME singles charts.
Interesting that the show's host failed to mention that Merrill was also a guitarist for several years with the band Meat Loaf after The Arrows broke up. I was amazed that fact was overlooked given the revered stature of the Meat Loaf band in the UK.

@awamoriwhiskey Actually I hear he only did it for the free plane ticket and gratis hotel (courtesy of BBC) to do his solo album "Aleecat" in London with bassist Dave Glover and drummer Pete Phipps. They started recording the day after the shooting of this show. The album was released a few years ago.

So the show served a higher purpose.
