My third kinestasis film (slideshow set to music) about a man I found dead on the train tracks near my home on Christmas Eve, 2007. Made for my Electronic Media class at the University of the Arts, Fall 2008 semester. Images set to the song "Home" by the Foo Fighters. The pictures are my intellectual property, the music is theirs, hence this video is not to be used for commercial purposes.

  • the photo is what i call a "pre-enactment", meaning it's an eerie resemblance from a photoshoot I did some 650 days before I found him. It was a suicide, as opposed to a dump job. I plan going back to that spot and making a sign that says "Seltzer's Last Stand". Even though I never knew him in life I felt a connection, and this video is my method of coping. Thanks for watching.

  • Wow. I also go to the University of the Arts (assuming you mean Philly) and this was the first result I saw when looking up examples for Kinestasis for my Time-Motion class. Awesome.

  • I figured something along those lines. I wasn't trying to portray him disrespectfully, and I apologize if I've created that impression w/ the descriptions

  • is the guy laying on the track one of your friends or the actual man that died? and how did the man die? i actually live pretty close to aparently, ive walked those tracks countless times
