Apparently, there was a nasty drug called "marijuana" that was popular in the early 1950s. Fortunately, aggressive government programs, tough policing, public service programs, and education were enough to rid America of "the reefer" forever.

Well if you actually watched the video nothing bad really happened when she smoked pot. And because marijuana is unfortunately associated class b drugs she got curious. I guess she thought well because i smoke marijuana and its not all that bad. She then thought I'll try smack and then she actually got addicted and it messed up her life. This video goes to show you that marijuana is nothing like other drugs and for that reason i think it should be legalized for adults to use.

Films like this only worsened the drug problem in later years by exaggarting the dangers of certain drugs.

Hahahaha ya so we take pills and drink and smoke sigerets becase they are on tv every 10 mins pushing them on us! Now I have liver damige from pain killers my docter said they wouldn't hurt me! Are you kidding??? If MOST of the people who use drugs were only "recreational" users then we wouldn't have such demand for drugs in this country. Demand has gone up exponentially over the years. It's not a recreational problem. Not anymore.

your right its double standard , tho i believe any personal amounts of any narcotic should be decriminalized , but see their are organizations like DEA and the DOC who make a living throwing our citizens in prison for nothing , look at all this money we pissed away on the "war on drugs" that money we waste doesn't vanish in thin air it goes to the CROOKS pensions and what not
