@Striker200008 Fox Two, usually a AIM9 sidewinder or any IR guided missile...
-
hmmm was it a dog fight? i think you hear "fox two" at the beginning...doesn't that mean a rocket?
-
LOL, he would have also said: "let me finish my cup of tea before ejecting, how unappropriate."
-
@b1cc2 Yes but, england invented america.
BAM!
-
@b1cc2 If you listen to aircraft radio transmissions, you can generally tell where the pilots were trained. RAF and British Airways guys just never get excited.
As for who designed (not invented) those types, I bet that Sydney Camm had some influence, along with everyone back to Leonardo.

@Fadamor Spot on. The clip appears in the documentary "Speed and Angels" about F14 Navy Weapons School training.

2 airplanes. the whole sky. like magnets.

@unapro3 Hahaha, classic. I would just tut, and I'd hope they still have tea bags at the airport. The british are always so calm.
-
I just love it how pilot hears word 'caution' AFTER he collides with the other jet
-
@b1cc2 seriously, you feel insulted? it was a tounge in cheek remark that I, and others it turns out, saw the funny side of. You have obviously had a sense of humour failure and should eject, eject , eject......
Notice how excited and panicked his voice sounds? obviously an American because a British pilot would have said calmly " Oh dear, my wing seems to be ablaze, that is indeed unfortunate"
