@pilchard96 Well I discovered how the tour lift for the book worked because I saw lots of videos and confirmed it by watching no good deed live. I saw 1 picture of the lift in storage and from what I saw on the bottom it looks like it gets on stage like all the other set pieces, by rails built into the wicked stage. I'm pretty sure it comes in just like the wizards head.
@pilchard96 The book doesnt go under the stage. Its built into the stage wicked tour lugs around. Its on a scissor lift so it just falls flat onto the floor. The books cover is wood like the floor also. Thats why when she opens it it makes that hard sound and she closes it before leaving the stand so when it goes down the wooden cover becomes part of the floor
also, the actress just falls to her knees in the melting scene - i am wondering why in this video, if the book stand can be trapdoored down substage, is it too small to fit the actress in aswell?
yeah i always wondered how it got on, without being seen, but i suppose that makes sense :)

No, it doesn't, NyBoundJoe. Even if the theatre has the proper trapdoor, they don't use it.

I love Donna but personally think Shoshana has the most haunting rendition of this song.
