  • Are jump shots legal in snooker

  • Good Question, I don't play Snooker much, but I'm pretty sure jump shots are illegal in International Snooker. It is a foul if the striker intentionally causes the cue ball to jump.

    Thanks for watching

  • Jeah, great jump, but its not allowed to shoot the cue ball over your opponents ball. :( At least these rules are everywhere in Estonia, even in championship.

I haven't readed international 8pool rules. Sorry if I'm wrong.

  • Rules are different all over the world, so don't be sorry. Rules in the US and when playing pool where jump shots are allowed, you are allowed to jump over the opponents ball.

    Thanks for watching

  • I've said it before, and I iwll say it again... your tips are amazing. i have been palying for years and years. My grandpa's brother is a pro in Europe, and my grandpa has helped obviously an immense in tweaking my game, but now that I have watched your vids, after trying MANY other people on Youtube, you have made my game MUCH better. My grandpa lives far away so I cant get total training from him. Jump shots are the worst part of my game, and I'm gonna use your advice again.. Hope it works

  • a regular cue tip is much softer. A jump/break cue has a much harder almost like concrete tip. The difference that makes is it strikes the ball much harder helping it jump better, plus it won't mushroom out your tip. Softer tips will 'mushroom' because of the harder force your trying to make it exert. if it's an old cue that you aren't too worried about its not that big of a deal

  • Good tutorial!
