Ski Plane flight over Mt Cook & snow landing

I couldn't resist taking this flight as the weather was so good. I booked a helicopter flight for a few days later at Franz Josef but I thought just incase the weather was no good there Ive got to take this Mt Cook flight. As it turned out it was a wise decision because the day I was suppose to take the Franz Josef flight the weather was no good, all helicopter operators were grounded.

pleasure, yeah the pilot did fly close to the mountains which made for great close viewing. I luved it when he flew straight at the mountain peak, awesome stuff :o)
